I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. When I was a little girl it was dresses and dancers, and now...

I still love drawing dresses and dancers !

I studied at La Sorbonne - The High School of Communications - and graduated with a Masters degree in marketing and communications. For a few years I worked in strategic planning, both in Paris and London, but I missed art and self-expression, so I left that world and went back to the arts to study acting and sculpture. I was drawn to, and loved both instantly.

I've acted in theatre, film, tv and voice over. After a period of time a stage injury led me to art-therapy, which I practiced with patients at various institutions.

In 2014 I traveled to New York for an acting workshop and love made me stay.

Since then and carried by the energy of the city, I have focused on my own work - A self-portrait sculpture series including face and torsos built in clay, as well as watercolor & ink painting which is inspired by my surroundings, fashion, and my imaginary world. The name EmilieGirl comes from this as well and is used for a certain portion of my work.

Self exploration and the female form, with her emotions and movements, are an endless inspiration for me.
